ORDER OF THE NEWTON COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS AND REGISTRATION WHEREAS, O.C.G.A. SS 21-2-265 provides that the Newton County Board of Elections and Registration is responsible for the selection and fixing of a polling place within each precinct and may change the polling place within any precinct; and WHEREAS, in accordance with O.C.G.A. SS 21-2-265, notice of the proposed polling place changes for the Fairview Precinct were advertised in The Covington News, the legal organ of Newton County, on weekend edition on January 31, 2026, February 7, 2026 and February 14, 2026 NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDERED by the Newton County Board of Elections and Registration that the precinct and polling places be advertised for change as follows: 1. The location of the Fairview Precinct polling place is hereby to changed from Belmont Baptist Church 3275 Iris Dr SE Conyers, Ga to Shiloh UMC 10 Almon Rd Covington, Ga 30016.
