CITY OF COVINGTON NOTICE of PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Mayor and Council of the City of Covington, Georgia, at 6:30 p.m. on February 16, 2026, at 2116 Stallings Street, Covington, Georgia to consider the adoption of a major amendment to its Capital Improvements Element (CIE) of the Comprehensive Plan. The proposed amendment will add a Parks and Recreation component to the Capital Improvements Element, including capital project listings, funding sources, and implementation schedules, in order to address current and future community needs. A copy of the proposed amended Capital Improvements Element is available for public review during normal business hours at City Hall, 2194 Emory Street, Covington, Georgia.
