PUBLIC NOTICE The City of Social Circle Planning and Corridor Commission will hold a Public Hearing on October 28, 2025, at 6:00pm at the Social Circle Community Room, 138 E Hightower Trail, for the following items: 1. GA Strouds Creek Land, LLC is requesting the annexation of Tax Parcels 0122 007A, 0122 007B, 0122 001, 0122 001A, & +/- 684 acres of Tax Parcel 0111 005 into the City of Social Circle, as part of a proposed Data Center development, under Light Industrial (LI) zoning. Application is being made under the provisions of the Official Code of Georgia Section 36-36-20 ET SEQ, and is made, by Ordinance, to be included in the Corporate Limits of said municipality and made a part thereof. 2. GA Strouds Creek Land, LLC is requesting a Future Land Use Map Amendment to designate 1196 & 1088 Lakewood Drive, also known as Tax Parcels S110 009 & 0122 001A, along with Tax Parcels 0111 005, 0122 007A, 0122 007B, 0122 001, as Industrial Character Areas on the City of Social Circle's Future Land Use Map. 3. GA Strouds Creek Land, LLC is requesting a rezone of 1196 & 1088 Lakewood Drive, also known as Tax Parcels S110 009 & 0122 001A, as well as Tax Parcels 0111 005, 0122 007A, 0122 007B, 0122 001, from Agricultural (AG) to Light Industrial (LI) for the purpose of developing a proposed Data Center. 4. GA Strouds Creek Land, LLC is requesting a special use to allow for the development of a proposed Data Center under Light Industrial (LI) zoning at 1196 & 1088 Lakewood Drive, also known as Tax Parcels S110 009 & 0122 001A, as well as at Tax Parcels 0111 005, 0122 007A, 0122 007B, 0122 001. 5. Consideration of Amendments to the City of Social Circle's Unified Development Code, Sections 13.2.4 & 13.2.8, regarding Mailed Notices and Community Meetings. The City of Social Circle Mayor & Council will hold a Public Hearing on November 18, 2025, at 6:30 pm at the Social Circle Community Room, 138 E Hightower Trail.
