PUBLIC NOTICE The City of Social Circle Planning and Corridor Commission will hold a Public Hearing on August 26, 2025, at 6:00pm at the Social Circle Community Room, 138 E Hightower Trail, for the following items: 1. WSG Land, LLC, is requesting the annexation of Tax Parcel SC2100010DP, also known as 0 Fairplay Road, into the City of Social Circle as part of a proposal to develop a data center, under Light Industrial (LI) zoning. Application is being made under the provisions of the Official Code of Georgia Section 36-36-20 ET SEQ, and is made, by Ordinance, to be included in the Corporate Limits of said municipality and made a part thereof. 2. WSG Land, LLC, is requesting a future land use map amendment to designate Tax Parcel SC2100010DP, also known as 0 Fairplay Road, as an Industrial character area on the City of Social Circle's Future Land Use Map as part of the requested annexation of the aforementioned property. 3. WSG Land, LLC, is requesting a rezone of Tax Parcel SC2100010DP, also known as 0 Fairplay Road, from Agricultural (AG), as currently zoned by Walton County, to Light Industrial (LI) for the purpose of developing a Data Center. 4. WSG Land, LLC, is requesting a special use to allow a data center under Light Industrial (LI) zoning, at 0 Fairplay Road, also known as Tax Parcels SC210001, SC210002, & SC2100010DP. 5. WSG Land, LLC, is requesting the annexation of Tax Parcel 0132 001E, also known as 1279 Cannon Drive, into the City of Social Circle as part of a proposal to develop a data center, under Light Industrial (LI) zoning. Application is being made under the provisions of the Official Code of Georgia Section 36-36-20 ET SEQ, and is made, by Ordinance, to be included in the Corporate Limits of said municipality and made a part thereof. 6. WSG Land, LLC, is requesting a future land use map amendment to designate Tax Parcel 0132 001E, also known as 1279 Cannon Drive, as Gateway Interchange character area on the City of Social Circle's Future Land Use Map as part of the requested annexation of the aforementioned property. 7. WSG Land, LLC, is requeting a rezone of Tax Parcel 0132 001E, also known as 1279 Cannon Drive, and Tax Parcels S133 001 & S133 005A, also known as 0 Mill Road, from Agricultural (AG), as currently zoned by Newton County, to Light Industrial (LI) for the purpose of developing a Data Center. 8. WSG Land, LLC, is requesting a special use to allow a data center under Light Industrial (LI) zoning, at 1279 Cannon Drive, also known as Tax Parcel 0132 001E, and 0 Mill Road, also known as Tax Parcels S133 001 & S133 005A. The City of Social Circle Mayor & Council will hold a Public Hearing on September 16, 2025, at 6:30 pm at the Social Circle Community Room, 138 E Hightower Trail.
